Noodle Board Materials

Made from your selected hardwood, inside and out.

Optional metal handles. Order your wooden stove cover with handles or without.

Finished with food safe and 100% solvent-free oil that soaks into the wood (rather than sitting on top). It gives the board natural, burnished sheen - not the shiny protective coating you see with polyurethane.

Please note that each board is unique in its detailing in the wood, and won't appear exactly as shown. Cherry wood will darken a few shades over time.

Use and Care Instructions

Using your noodle board:
Do not place your noodle board on hot surfaces or near an open flame. Noodle boards are made from 100% wood and are not heat resistant, posing as a fire hazard if used incorrectly.

Caring for your noodle board:
If used for a decoration, there is very little you need to do to care for your noodle board. It is naturally water and sun resistant. An occasional wiping is all you need to do.

When you notice the finish becoming dull, refresh your finish with a food grade, solvent-free oil.

When used for food preparation, care for this piece like you would any cutting board. Do not wash in the dishwasher, but rather wash by hand with soapy water or vinegar and water.

The natural oil will protect your noodle board for a very long time, but small cuts caused by chopping will lessen the life of the surface.

Cuts can be smoothed with a light sanding. Then refinish as directed above to restore the shine.

Our noodle boards are solid wood and as such can be a fire hazard if placed near an active flame or high temperatures.
